Taco Festival Will Take a Place in Thailand for First Time This November

Taco Festival

Say Hola México!

Bangkok is taking its diplomatic relations with Mexico to the next level in November with Thailand’s first-ever Taco Festival. Hosted in partnership with the Embassy of Mexico, W Hotel, The Westin and Corona (the beers, that is), this 15-day food event will celebrate the vibrancy of Mexican culture, namely through flavours and traditions.

From November 1 to 15, sample authentic recipes from 15 different restaurants around the city. each of them will be creating a special set for the event, and you can expect recipes like carnitas, Birria, tinga, sudados, as well as vegetarian options. Amongst the participating restaurants are favourites such as La Monita, Tortilla Quemada, Cholos and La Cocina.

To participate, simply register for free on the official Taco Festival website. There are also prizes up for grabs for diners who explore the most tacos and venues. Early-bird registrants will also receive a voucher for the most traditional Mexican drink to pair with their tacos.
