Bangkok Nursing Home Hospital is a rather modern in more famous hospital in Bangkok. It’s up to international standards and sees quite a lot of medical tourists coming and going. They cover every field of medicine and are, of course, open 24/7.

Bumrungrad is pretty centrally located in the middle of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit road. Bumrungrad International is one of Thailand’s most well known hospitals and kinda feels more like entering a high end hotel than a hospital.

It bills itself as “a center of excellence in specialty medicine, and a world leader in medical tourism.” Furthermore, according to its website, it is the largest private hospital in Southeast Asia, it treats around 900,000 patients per year of which one third (300,000) are international patients from over 150 different countries.

#3 Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital

As with others, Samitivej also bills itself as “a leading provider of healthcare in Thailand and Southeast Asia”. It is, however, also a really good hospital with a very high standard. It’s not as fancy as Bumrungrad but still on the top end of hospitals, has lots of doctors and staff at side and covers all kinds of medical conditions. What’s cool for tourists: There’s an immigration counter that can assist with visa and similar questions.

Bangkok International Hospital has grown to become a pretty famous hospital as well. Especially when it comes to sports injuries since they are treating lots of pro athletes there. During the post WWII period, the American Presbyterian Mission and the Church of Christ in Thailand purchased a piece of land situated between Silom Road and Surawongse Road consisting of several wooden buildings. After planning and remodeling the existing buildings, the Bangkok Christian Hospital was officially inaugurated in 1949.

Over 50 years later it's still serving the general populace, and as popular as ever. A more modest hospital than many of the other private hospitals in Bangkok, its standard fees are usually much lower. It is especially popular for treatment relating to minor ailments.
